OA4promas is formed by object-oriented modules, enabling modifications in the production process with minimum effort and without loss of quality. Users can easily add or replace modules with predefined functionality and can also modify and update the entire control system. Because of its modular structure, OA4promas can be applied to most industry batch processes.
OA4promas is subdivided in several layers: Production management, process management, batch management and machine control. These modules and layers are connected with predefined and standard interfaces. Its modular structure and interfaces are defined by applying the worldwide ISA S88 and S95 process standards S88. This results in maximum flexibility with updates requiring minimal effort.
